Scot Forge produces discs and blanks
in an infinite variety of sizes from 2" to 124" diameter,
with individual weights up to 80,000 pounds in ferrous and
non-ferrous material.
The process includes upsetting, or standing the heated material
on end and working it between the upper and lower dies.
This upsetting induces directional
grain flow, which gives strength, ductility and resistance
to impact and fatigue not found in plate or bar stock.
Scot Forge also offers quick turnaround
and on-time guarantees. Ask about our 1- and 2-week guarantee
programs.
